1. No rule breaking (thats obvious)
2. No power playing - This basically means that you cannot say what another players character is doing when you are rping your character. Its a little hard to explain, so I'll give you an example:
Person 1: Bob waved to Bill
Person 2: Bill saw Bob wave and waved back. Bill watched as Bob walked over to him.
The bit in bold is the Power-Playing taking place. Person 2 is saying what the other character is doing when Person 1 hasn't said that their character has done that. Its a bit of a rubbish example, but you get the idea, ask someone if you don't.
Another thing on powerplaying. If you are doing batle you cannot say something like
"I clawed at his face, feeling my claws meet his flesh..." Its up to the other player to say if your character scored a hit or not. Instead you must say
"I aimed a slash at his face, hoping to feel my claws meet his flesh..." The bits in italic are the changed bits.
3. No god modeling - This means no invincible characters, they cant survive everything that life throws at them, they have to die sometime, and they can be injured. Also, no going to the other extreme, they have to be good at something, they can't be good at nothing. Use something to their advantage.
4. Be respectful of other players at all times - No hate mail, please. Be polite, no excessive swearing, in moderation its alright, but don't f****** put f*** before every f****** word you f***, thats excessive. Also, if you have a grudge, hold it in, keep it quiet, let rip in private where nobody can hear, see or care. We don't want to see it on this site.
5. Be respectful of all staff at all times, obey and don't backchat - Don't complain and say its not fair, we only do stuff for a reason. If you think a member of my staff is acting up, take it to me, no-one else.
6. Absolutely NO racism, sexism, ageism or ANYTHING-ism - Im serious. Don't do it. Period.
{Larkas Blessing}
7. No IC fights carried into OOC and vice versa - If one of your characters has a disagreement with another persons character, don't take it out on the player. Oftentimes a nasty character is played by a nice person. Also vice versa, if you have a disagreement with a player, don't start going around and massacring all their characters. Just don't.
8. Nothing too graphic, if moderate then indicate this in the thread title - Basically, no graphic breeding or birthing or violence. If it has to be a bit stodgy, put a [m] in the thread title or a [Warning]. There is till however nothing excessive, this is no porn site, so also no pictures of it, there will be younger players here too in all likeliness.
9. Do not RP a character before it has been accepted - Simple, if your character hasn't been accepted, don't rp it. Its probably because I or a member of staff haven't gotten round to checking it. Also if we have checked it but not accepted, we may have given a reason, usually that it needs a little tweaking and improvement before we can accept it. You can however post in the OOC (out of character) boards anytime you like.
10. Have no more characters than you can handle, we don't want them getting inactive - If you only have time to rp 5 characters, only keep 5 characters. Keep in mind that cannon and important characters will often need to be kept more active than originals. Inactive characters leads to frustrated players who are waiting for a reply from your character.
11. Use good grammer and full sentences and no chat-speak - Simple. If you find yourself struggling to meet standards, post in the RP school, and me and the other players will see what we can give you in the way of advice
12. Only one character per account please. This makes it much easier to see which character is talking and acting. This will mean that you will have to create a new account for each new character that you create. For each character you must be logged into his/her account before you post, or you will have a post by one character with the name of another attached to it.
13. Tip: The password to the New character board is in {} brackets.
